There is no timetable, no queue at the gangway and no commentary over a loudspeaker. You tell us what kind of day you want — long lunches on an island, waterfalls up close, a crossing to Rosendal, somewhere quiet to swim — and we plan the water around it.

The Prestige 500 Fly carries her length well — a wide flybridge for the crossing out, a sheltered saloon for the weather that inevitably arrives, and enough deck to spread out on when it doesn't. She is comfortable at speed and quiet at anchor, which is most of what matters out here.

Who We Are

A family, and one long crossing in November.

We brought her home from the Netherlands in the worst weather of the year.

It was not the sensible month to make that crossing. It turned into one of the best experiences we have had on the water, and it settled the question of whether we were serious about this.

We started Norwegian Fjords because the coast we grew up on is meant to be experienced rather than photographed from a distance. Every charter we run is still planned by the people who will be aboard with you.
