Our commitment

At Norwegian Fjords we are dedicated to creating memorable and seamless experiences for our guests. We will always do our best to accommodate your wishes and to help with itineraries, activities, dining, transport and local recommendations.

While we aim to provide exceptional service at all times, some circumstances are beyond our control. The following terms apply to all bookings.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel, the refund depends on how far ahead of departure you tell us.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to post@norwegian-fjords.com.

Weather and safety

The safety of our guests, crew and vessel is always our highest priority. If the captain determines that weather, sea conditions or other safety factors make the voyage unsafe, Norwegian Fjords may cancel, postpone or modify the itinerary.

Guest conduct

Guests are expected to follow all safety instructions given by the captain and crew.

If a voyage has to be terminated because of inappropriate behaviour, intoxication, unsafe actions, illegal activity or refusal to follow safety instructions, no refund is given.

Technical issues

Although the vessel is maintained to a high standard, unforeseen technical problems can occur. If a technical fault makes it impossible or unsafe to begin or continue a voyage, we may cancel or shorten the trip, and you are refunded for any unused portion of the charter.

Accessibility

For safety reasons, guests must be able to board and leave the vessel safely and to move around on board, including using stairs.

If anyone in your group has particular accessibility needs, contact us before booking so we can assess together whether the experience is suitable.

Private quays and piers

Where a charter includes arrival at or departure from a private quay or pier, the customer is responsible for ensuring the facility is suitable and safe for the vessel. If the captain judges that a quay cannot be used safely, an alternative nearby location is selected.

Liability

Norwegian Fjords is not liable for delays, changes, cancellations or losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including severe weather, natural events, government restrictions, strikes, port closures and other force majeure events.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel and cancellation insurance if they want it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any dispute arising out of or relating to services provided by Norwegian Fjords is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
