Porsvika 125 · 60°15′N 5°05′E · From 8 hrs
A table most people never find.
Out through the skerries of Sotra to a place that does not appear on the way to anywhere. Cruising first, then a long dinner.
Porsvika sits on the far side of Sotra, the large island west of Bergen. There is no reason to pass it, which is exactly why it is worth going to.
The route out threads the islands and skerries on the seaward side, where the rock is bare and the water changes colour with the depth. It is the most open stretch of coast on any of our charters.
The point of the day is what waits at the end of it: hospitality and a kitchen that justifies the crossing. This charter is cruising and dinner, in that order, and it is not designed to be rushed.

Questions
How long is the dinner?
Plan on three to four hours. This charter is built around the meal rather than fitting one in, and the return leg is timed to suit.
Can we stay the night instead?
Sometimes, subject to availability ashore. Ask when you enquire and we will find out.
Is the boat private to our group?
Yes. The vessel is reserved exclusively for your group — no other guests aboard and no shared seating.
How many people can come?
Up to twelve guests. The price is for the whole boat, so it does not change with group size.
What happens if the weather is bad?
West-coast weather moves quickly, and the captain will often reroute to sheltered water rather than cancel. If conditions make the trip unsafe, we reschedule or refund in full.
