Øygarden & Askøy · 60°32′N 4°55′E · From 3 hrs
Three hours, and you are somewhere else entirely.
The shortest way out of Bergen and into water that feels nothing like a city. Narrow sounds, hidden coves, and no schedule to keep.
This is the charter for a first afternoon on the coast, or for a group that wants the water without giving up the whole day.
The route runs west through Askøy and out into Øygarden, where the mainland breaks up into hundreds of islands and the sounds narrow to a few boat-lengths. It is sheltered water, which means it stays comfortable when the open sea is not.
Because it is short and close to town, it bends easily. Freediving, paddling, a swim off the back, seafood somewhere quiet, or simply three hours of moving through islands — you decide on the day.

Questions
Is three hours long enough?
For a first taste of the coast, yes. It is the charter most guests book when they have an evening free rather than a whole day — and the water starts twenty minutes from the quay.
Can we swim?
Yes, in season. The captain will find sheltered water with a good bottom, and there is a bathing platform aft.
Is the boat private to our group?
Yes. The vessel is reserved exclusively for your group — no other guests aboard and no shared seating.
How many people can come?
Up to twelve guests. The price is for the whole boat, so it does not change with group size.
What happens if the weather is bad?
West-coast weather moves quickly, and the captain will often reroute to sheltered water rather than cancel. If conditions make the trip unsafe, we reschedule or refund in full.
